Very very nice simple but fully serviced site so 2 nights. @ -7 ft !!!
Sunday 25th to Zevenhoven
So a visit to Edam and Volendam. Not overimpressed very touristy.
But the Cheese shop dis have lots of cheese and clogs (and crap)
So round the Amsterdam M25 to ZevenHoven a pleasant enough farm-site but right under the flight path to Schipol (not too bad)
Monday 26th to Gouda and 27th
Easy drive and an excellent "stellplatz/aire" with everything included.
A short walk to the town which is pretty Gooda so 2 nights here.
Wednesday 28th and 29th to Grobbendonk (Belgium)
So an interesting drive including a very short ferry across one of the Rhine "delta's".
Planned camp in Netherlands not good so on to Grobbendonk. We have stayed her 2x B4 and it is simply very nice.
Friday 30th to Sas Van Gent (Netherlands) and Saturday
A minor panic as we tried to leave as the engine would not start. So a call to the breakdown service.
The mechanic duly arrived with a suitable "low loader". A few checks and he was at a loss.
I then showed him our "fuel enhancer" which plugs in as a "T Junction". So we removed it and all was well.
A slow drive round Antwerp and then on the M-way.
Finding our way into Sas van Gent was difficult especially as there was a road closure.
But we got there OK.. A lovely area with no facilities (except Lidl) but we can "do 2 nights"
Sunday 1st Sept to Wingene
An Ice-cream cafe and more but with space and facilities for 6 motorhomes.
Just south of Bruges and simply good.
Monday 2nd Sept and Tuesday
Just outside Gravelines. A very nice aire with no facilities but dedicated for motorhomes.
9 or 10 there overnight but very handy and functional.
Wednesday 4th Sept
Eurotunnel to Folkestone and Canterbury P&R
